Cape Coral Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill organization that brings new hope to Southwest Florida’s homeless animals.
Cape Coral Animal Shelter is making a difference! In just three years, the shelter has accomplished:
- Over 4,000 adoptions and counting
- Foster families came to the aid of over 2,500+ animals were placed in foster homes prior to adoptions
- We have over 2,000+ volunteers
- Over 6,500 patients have been treated in our low-cost veterinary clinic
- 1,100+ spay/neuter surgeries and over 550 dental surgeries performed
- 140+ dogs were treated for Heartworm
- Saved 50 FIV/FeLV Cats
- We average 120 animals in our care on any given day (with just 12 kennels and 3 cat rooms on-site)
CCAS is currently working on plans for their Phase II expansion, which includes an 18,000 square foot shelter adjacent to their existing building. They will convert the existing building to add additional space for the veterinary clinic, which is desperately needed.
CCAS receives no federal funding, nor are they part of any national humane organization. They rely solely on contributions from partners, donors, and sponsors.
With your help, we can make an even BIGGER impact and save more animals in need. Let’s give a voice to the voiceless…together.
