You can help Cape Coral, FL save hundreds of pets who suffer in the area because they have no place to go. Cape Coral Animal Shelter (CCAS) will be the first animal shelter in the area for a growing population of over 180,000 residents. Until we build this shelter, hundreds of pets will continue to suffer. There is just no place for them to go. CCAS is a no kill, 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Our state of the art facility will take special consideration for the furry friends we will shelter while they wait to find their furever home and new beginning. Life rooms with glass front enclosures instead of metal bars will be more comfortable for them and less noisy. Each life room will have indoor and outdoor space to allow all cats and dogs fresh air every day. These rooms will allow several pets to be sheltered together so they can snuggle up together and be more comfortable. Most pets feel safer with furry friends for company. Pets who prefer to be on their own will also be accommodated.
CCAS believes helping families keep their family pets will reduce unwanted dogs and cats on the streets. For those families who don't want to give up their cat or dog, but don't think they have another option, we will work with them to make it possible to keep their pets.
