Help Us Continue to Save Animals

In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that's through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. Together.

On May 5, 2020, Cape Coral Animal Shelter is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. As you know, our organization opened its doors under very trying circumstances. So far we saved over 150 animals and found loving, forever homes for over 80 of those animals. We opened our low-cost veterinary clinic earlier than anticipated because we were receiving so many calls asking us to help those in need. We partnered with Feed the Pack, a local pet food pantry to distribute several hundred pounds of dog and cat food to those in need. Opening the shelter during a virus pandemic was certainly not in the plans, but we are pushing forward with our mission and persevering.
